The Dog (and chipmunk) Days Of Summer

We've been watching chipmunks a lot this summer. They are eating all of the berries off of our tree and are so cute to watch. Yesterday while T. was napping, G. and I watched this one and another for about 20 minutes. I have never seen G. so quiet!

This is what G. wanted to do while T. was napping. Do work in his grade 2 workbook from Costco. He is so wonderfully weird sometimes.

Tip: do you have pennies lying around collecting dust and taking up room in your house? We had 2 full bags of them and so I bought the papers to roll them in and G. has spent about 3 hours in total rolling them. Of course he gets to keep the money, so he is highly motivated to roll them all! He has earned $13 so far!

You know you're having a great summer when you haven't blogged in 10 days. G. and I went up north camping for 4 days with some friends. It was so nice to have that time with him and even though the weather was the pits, we had an amazing time. Lots of campfires, hot dogs and marshmallows!

I've been off this week and am going to be very sad to see it end. The boys and I have packed a lot in and have had tons of fun! Swimming, parks, library, Tim Horton's...ah summer!
