Video - Glow in the dark mini golf

Niagara Falls - first up - the hotel

We just took our first trip as a family to Niagara Falls! This the first hotel stay for us! It was a lot of fun. The boys had their own room, which was awesome! It meant they went to bed and we didn't have to and that in the morning we could sleep in!
This was the view from the pool. That's the Sky Wheel. More on that to come!

What is with the Elvis look?

Just lounging around...

Nothing better than watching cartoons in bed in a hotel!

Seeing the sites

Getting ready to ride the Sky Wheel - a huge ferris wheel that lets you see all of Niagara Falls. It was a lot of fun and the first 'touristy' thing we did on our trip.

View of the falls from the Sky Wheel

Really high up!

We were at the top of that - wow!
After the Sky Wheel, we wandered down to the falls.

This was the window at our table at Boston Pizza. One little boy couldn't quite sit for the whole meal, so he stood!
Glow in the dark mini golf - so much fun!
On Clifton Hill - which our hotel was very close to - we walked everywhere!

Maid of the Mist!

This was lots of fun! It was ok to get wet because it was SO hot!
Skylon Tower

Across from the Maid of the Mist is this great park. We had snacks here and the boys ran around.

Marineland fish/mammals etc.

The aquariums were so great.
Partly because of the dolphins, whales etc, and partly because they were air conditioned! The boys loved watching them swim right in front of them.

At the King Waldorf show - two tired, hot boys. This was at 1:00pm - after this we went inside for a while!

Marineland Rides!

T. has always refused to go on rides. We never push him, but we always wanted him to try them because we knew he'd love them. Finally - at Marineland - he tried them! And he is hooked!

G. is the one with the huge smile on his face looking at the camera, T. is beside him.
Rocket ship!
This was a mini version of the Sky Screamer. I did not think T. would go on this one - but he did! And loved it so much that he went on 4 more times! No lines that day - we lucked out.

Two of those sets of feet are G's and T's. They screamed for joy the whole time!
Love this one!

This was at the end of the day. Can you see how hot they are? It was almost 40 degrees. Not perfect conditions for Marineland, but boy did they do well.
P. and the boys on the pirate ship. A ride you could not pay me to go on! They LOVED it!

This was such a great mini-vacation at the end of an amazing summer. We hope to do it again some day!
