Proud

G:
I just want to say how proud I am of you today.
You came home with an amazing report card.
The effort you put into your school work is just awesome.
And you are also a super nice kid!
How did we get to be so lucky to have you?
Secondly, I love how you will try something new with very little or no hesitation.
Tonight you started soccer at the community centre, not knowing anyone that you'd be playing with. That didn't bother you at all and you had a great time!
That quality will get you so far because it will allow you to try new things easily.
Great job today, G.
I love you and think you are fantastic!
Love, Mommy

G's room

Finally got around to posting some pictures of G's newly painted room. We have had maps of Canada and the World for several years and realized they would look great in G's room. And voila! I plan on making the red wall a picture wall with family, friends and artwork G. does.
I just love how it's all looking. Just need some new bedding!

Buzz Lightyear Ride

This was what we saw while we waited to get into the ride.

Our very first ride at Disney.

We're going to Disney World!

Not only is this super cute when T. says "we're going to Disney World" but if you watch carefully, at the very end, he puts his ear to the armrest. He thought that's where the sound from the TV came from because that's where the headphones are plugged in!

Taking off!

Plane Ride!

So we went to Disney! And stayed in a house with 14 other adults and kids! And we had a blast! Here are pics of our time there.

This was the boys' first plane ride, so we weren't sure what to expect. They loved it. Actually, they loved the TVs that played their favourite shows. And as you can see, they loved the airport and the moving sidewalk. A great intro to our trip!

Magic Kingdom Pics!

Magic Kingdom was our first day at Disney. It was busy and fun! We headed straight for the Buzz Lightyear ride - a big hit!
Here are our pics from Magic Kingdom.
This was at the end of the day - T. was a bit 'done' at this point!
All 4 of us road the Astro Orbitor - G. and I sat together.

Holy crowds eh? This was right after the parade ended - we loved the parade and had a great view from up here!

Aaaah, "It's A Small World" - classic Magic Kingdom and we loved it! T. was so thrilled to be able to drive this car all by himself!

Here we are at the Buzz Lightyear ride having a snack and waiting for G. and P. to come off Space Mountain.

Hollywood Studios Pics!

We were the most excited to go to Hollywood Studios - Toy Story Mania, Indiana Jones, Muppets - so fun!
This is at the end of the night - we saw the Fantasmic light and fireworks show at 8:30 and then whipped over to Toy Story Mania for one last go on it. It was by far our favourite experience of the trip - except for the one time we were in line for it and a kid jumped off the ride before it was over and we all had to leave! And we were next in line to get on! Needless to say, the boys were not happy - either was I - I wanted to get a new high score!

On the tram ride to the parking lot. You can see that Gabriel is looking a bit 'rough'. He had a cold and was such a trooper, but was feeling quite yucky this day. Thankfully he perked up the next day.
Tower of Terror at Sunset. So neat!
Right before the Indiana Jones show started - G. giggled through the whole thing. He loved it!
Honey I Shrunk the Kids play area - this was a big hit. They could roam freely without us having to worry about losing them in the huge crowds!

The Pixar light! T. could have watched this for a very long time - the light danced to the music.
3D glasses for the Toy Story Mania ride.

Epcot pics!

Epcot was our last park and we were a bit tired this day, but still had fun. I never thought that T. would go for this pic - but he was totally into it! He is so scared of this shark in the movie 'Finding Nemo'. We loved the Nemo ride and the aquarium!

The classic Epcot ball I love these figures made out of bushes! They were everywhere!

Swimming and house pics!

We sure lucked out with this house! A heated pool, hot tub, games room and each family had their own bathroom! It was perfect! People thought we were nuts staying in a house of 18, but it worked out so well and I think the kids could have just stayed at the house and had a great vacation.
One very exciting part of the trip was that T. started swimming with water wings! As you can see, he took to them very quickly and loved the independence!

I miss the house and the people who filled it up!
