Our little chef in the making

G made pancakes for us this morning! With a bit of supervision, he can do it all by himself. And really well! Here is one he made that coincidentally looks like Mickey Mouse's ears. He loves making teeny tiny ones that get crunchy.

It's the little things...

P has had to put in some late evenings and early mornings at work this week due to their annual inventory.
He gets T up on the days I work, but always gets T's milk out and ready for me if he can't be here.
This is what I found on Thursday when I woke up...it's a little thing, but it's so nice!

Big B Little b...

Auntie S bought T this game for Christmas and it is awesome! It's a Dr. Seuss game that's like Twister but you put your hands, feet and ear on letters rather than colours. I knew T would like it, but didn't realize G would too! It's a great game for them to play together.

Videos from our new Flip Video Camera

Just a few videos on our new Flip video camera!
The first is of the boys singing Happy Birthday to Auntie S. We tried to send it to you, but it was too big! The other two are just every day videos of T. In the last one, he's practicing in his Handwriting without Tears book - I bet Auntie S. is proud!

Aaaah, organization!

This is our front hall closet.
In a house as small as ours, we have to maximize every inch we have.
Up until yesterday, there was a children's craft table there. We loved it, but I realized that I could get a whole lot more stuff in that space if I took the table out and replaced it with drawers.
Here is the result:
The top small drawers hold large markers, small markers, pencil crayons and crayons. The drawers come right out so the boys can just take that drawer into the kitchen when they want it.
The rest of the drawers hold paper, colouring books, playdoh, stickers, rulers, scissors, glue, beads, etc.
Then inside the closet to the left and the right, I was able to fit skinnier sets of drawers to hold other craft supplies that we use left often.
I love how it looks and functions. Already, T. has been into the drawers and done some colouring!
Oh and the most fun part? We bought a label maker and G. labelled all of the drawers for me! I cannot believe I have not had one of these yet - it is so awesome!
Here here to our newly organized craft space! I see a lot of crafts in our future!

Winter fun!

G. trying out our 'man-made' hill!
At the top, getting on the toboggan...Ready to head down... Weeeee!
That was fun! I'm going down again!
All bundled up.
Rosy cheeks!

T. helping build the tobogganing hill
Ah that sun feels good!

I have no idea how he can do this! So c-c-c-cold!G. mapping out the perimeter of the ice rink.

Tree

This is the tree in our backyard one evening last week. I think it looks so pretty with the pink sky behind it. Some days I can't believe this is the view we have from our living room. We're so lucky!

New Years Eve Fun!

Here is our pre-dinner feast - could have just eaten this stuff and been satisifed.
But we followed it with delicious steak!
The boys trying out the sparkling apple-berry juice
I think T. likes it Matching jammies from Santa!

Happy New Year!!!!
